We are so excited that you are joining Omni Family of Services in our mission to serve and support vulnerable children, adults and families. The work you do is exceptional, and we’re going to be able to do more together than ever before. 


This may be unfamiliar territory for many of you, and we understand that periods of change can feel overwhelming, particularly when there are open questions about your role and what the future holds.


We’ll be addressing these as a group shortly; however, in the meantime, if you have any specific questions about your role, feel free to reach out to jwigal@theomnifamily.com. We may add them to a list to address with the team or respond directly, depending on how applicable they are to everyone.


To help, we’ve put together an FAQ to answer the most pressing questions. We know there will be many more as time goes on and we get more settled, but we hope these answers below help instill some confidence that this new, larger family we’re a part of is in the perfect position to do great things.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I still have a job?

Yes. JusticeWorks joining Omni is designed to expand our capacity, deepen our expertise, and create new opportunities for collaboration and professional growth. This change is about strengthening our work and supporting the people who do it.

Will the payroll cycle change?

No, the Omni payroll team is working with JusticeWorks to keep the payroll cycle the same. This means your paycheck will be received on the same date as you anticipate now.

Will HR be available to answer questions?

Our goal is to make this transition as worry-free and seamless as possible. Omni and JusticeWorks leaders are working closely together, and our HR team will meet with you to walk through what to expect and support you through onboarding. They’ll provide clear information, answer your questions, and be available every step of the way so you can feel confident—and excited—about joining Omni.

Is my job title or role changing?

No—your job title and role are not changing. For now, it’s business as usual. Our focus remains the same: caring for the people we serve as well as our teammates, and continuing that work with the same commitment and care.

Do I still go to the same place to work?

Yes. It’s business as usual. You’ll continue working in the same location, alongside the same teammates, and serving the same clients you know and care about—and you will continue reporting to the same supervisor.

Will there be an information session for the JusticeWorks team?

Absolutely! Omni’s HR team is excited to host three Welcome Sessions during the first week of March to help you get connected and learn more. We hope you’ll join us for one of the sessions—keep an eye out for your invitation with details. We’re looking forward to welcoming you!

Will my benefits, like 401(k), PTO, and insurance, change?

Any potential changes to benefits will be carefully reviewed by Omni and JusticeWorks leadership together. No changes will happen on day one. This will be a thoughtful, deliberate process, and our priority is making the best decisions for our teammates. You’ll receive clear communication well in advance of any updates. One change that will occur is merging the JusticeWorks 401(k) plan with Omni’s. Your contributions will not change as part of this process. We will provide additional details about this transition as quickly as possible.
